The anti-Special Intensive Revision (SIR) protest by the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) in Kochi, Kerala, on November 7 has been reiterated to cancel the voter roll revision exercise. The protest "Jantar Mantar at Kochi" will be organized at Rajendra Maidan from 4 pm, XJP said in a post.

“Save Democracy! Cancel SIR! Join Us - 7th November - 4 PM | Rajendra Maidan, Kochi,” read the post.
Abhijeet Dipke (CJP founder) will join the demonstration. The party's south zone lead Vijay Mallangi and national secretary Aafreen Nawaz will also be joining the anti-SIR protest in Kochi on November 7.
The protest is CJP's first major action since it was arrested by the Delhi police while holding a protest at Jantar Mantar against Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar and SIR of electoral rolls.
Dipke was arrested last month along with other CJP leaders Ashutosh Ranka and Saurav Das who were trying to hold a protest without permission at Jantar Mantar against Gyanesh Kumar.
The government later did the same by declaring Jantar Mantar a protest site. Das and Ranka, however, went on to break into the protest site and hoist the national flag, in protest of the denotification. Arrested and subsequently put in jail for a week, they were released after an undertaking was made by the Special Executive Magistrate (SEM) that they would not hold any more protest meetings at Jantar Mantar till it was denotified.
CJP's support was extended to the march of the INDIA bloc in Delhi on November 1, but not to the Rahul Gandhi-led march at Rahul Gandhi's Ramlila Maidan.
